Wymondham Rugby Club Site Visit
Chaplin Farrant team members headed down to site yesterday to get a sneak peek of the new Wymondham Rugby Clubhouse before its anticipated completion in September.
The completion of the facility will see the rugby club move from its current location on Tuttles Lane to this new purpose-built facility set on a 30-acre site. The new development will provide 4 full-size pitches, 2 of which are floodlit, in addition to age specific pitches for the minis section. The Clubhouse will benefit from 6 No. 18-person changing rooms each with their own shower area, 2 official's changing rooms and a sports rehabilitation clinic. In addition to this there will be a first floor 180 cover bar area with commercial kitchen as well as a smaller 80 cover bar at ground floor.
The clubhouse has been designed to engage with the local community, offering space for local cricket, archery and athletics teams to train also. The function rooms upstairs lead out onto the balcony which provides impressive and unobstructed views of the pitches.
