Having successfully achieved planning permission for two sites in Spooner Row, this first phase of the development provides 8no. 4 bedroom homes.
Design: the development of the site enables the completion of the streetscape and thus forms a coherent southern gateway to Spooner Row .
Environmental: Flood risk issues have been addressed via an attenuation lagoon that forms part of larger amenity spaces that have been provided for the village. This also enhances the ecology of the site.
Challenges: the site was outside the development boundary and suffered from potential overlooking of neighbouring properties. With careful dialogue and consultation with the appropriate stakeholders, we negotiated solutions to these challenges.
