Poringland Surgery

The old surgery provided inadequate facilities for an expanding population, whilst the new surgery provides ‘fit-for-purpose’ accommodation.

The new surgery building, creates a purpose built facility to suit the local population. The accommodation provides 6 GP and 2 nurse consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms, multi-purpose rooms, a dispensary and waiting area, with administration and staff accommodation on the first floor.

The new facility meets current Health Service standards and is designed to allow for future expansion with minimal adaptation. The materials and form reflect the semi-rural setting of the village south of Norwich.
