Design: the design of the dwellings reflects the traditional North Norfolk rural environment and provides replacement dwellings that previously had a low level of occupancy.
Challenges: the sloping site has an electrical main supply running through it and a neighbouring leylandii hedge, requiring the layout to take this into consideration.
Environmental: the buildings have a high level of thermal efficiency and have PVs to minimise lifetime energy costs.
Stakeholder engagement: consultation was held with current tenants to understand their needs in housing terms.
