Work Experience Students

It's been a real pleasure to have two work experience students from Aylsham High School and Fakenham Academy during the summer at our Norwich office and give them insight into a career within architecture and the construction industry.

These opportunities help students to understand their options beyond school, the skills they may need for the future, and raises their aspirations.

Above and below are a couple of images of projects they created themselves!

We received great feedback from the two students:

"Thank you so much to the staff members who looked after me, especially Stuart DeaconRobert Gillett-RatleyPhilip Connolly, and Filip Schubert; they were extremely patient, helpful and kind and there were many times I asked for help. It gave me a really useful sense of the actual process that is involved in architectural design. My dad said I'd be making tea and I didn't make a single cup!"

"It has been a really good eye opener and a great insight into what it's like to work as an architect in an office environment. I have learned many new skills including site analysis using 3D modelling software and much more. Thank you so much, I have certainly gained valuable skills for the futCallum6ure!
