Work Experience Students
It's been a real pleasure to have two work experience students from schools in Norwich during July at our Norwich office and give them insight into a career within architecture and the construction industry.
These opportunities help students to understand their options beyond school, the skills they may need for the future, and raises their aspirations.
Below are a couple of images of projects they created themselves with a brief:- design a house for a client of your choice within the Chaplin Farrant grounds overlooking the Broads, the structure should be compact but functional, and an inviting retreat incorporating sustainable elements.
Both students gave a presentation of their design to a few Chaplin Farrant staff and was really enjoyable to watch them present their designs and listen to their reasoning of their design, materials chosen and the sustainable elements used.
