Celebrating Norwich’s design heritage with the Boardman & Skipper Tour!
Yesterday, the Chaplin Farrant team explored the architectural legacy of Norwich on the Boardman & Skipper Tour with Paul Dickson Tours.
This two-hour guided walk offered a fascinating look into the lives and works of Edward Boardman and George Skipper — two architects who played a major role in shaping the character of our city. From Boardman’s elegant Victorian buildings, to Skipper’s flamboyant and imaginative designs, including the Royal Arcade and Surrey House.
As a local architectural practice, it was a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with the city’s rich design heritage — and to see how the past continues to inform and inspire our work today.
