Brief: To design a scheme for 6 No.  1 bedroom flats on a brownfield site.

Detail: This development is located on a former brownfield site and is an excellent example of sustainable affordable housing.

 

Timber frame construction and timber cladding have been used to ensure the building blends in with the surrounding area, creating an attractive and contemporary space for residents.

High levels of insulation, natural light and air tightness have been incorporated into the design, with all materials used able to be recycled, including aluminium roofing.
