Detail: The 12.3ha will be of mixed use, and will include a cinema, hotel, DIY store & garden centre, restaurants, drive thru, gym, car showroom and family public house. It is anticipated the site will create approximately 650 jobs.
Design: A mix of contemporary and traditional industrial units aims to encourage public access to the site.
Challenges: with part of the site on a flood plain, close collaboration with engineers was required to mitigate the risk of flooding. Overhead power cables also required design consideration.
