The development of this brownfield site in Norwich has commenced with the project providing 43 homes - a mix of town houses and flats adjacent to the River Wensum
The existing site was used as a workshop and salvage yard with the ground badly contaminated and predominantly ‘made’ ground.
In 1783 the site was home to St Martin's brewery and malthouse with many buildings damaged during bombing raid in 1942.
A challenging site, with the river, poor ground conditions and the location of key services across the site, the design solution provides two parallel lines of town houses.
