Chaplin Farrant have made a detailed town planning application for Phase 1 Chilton Leys for 215 dwellings together with an outline application for 1.34 ha of employment land.

The dwellings range in size from 2 bedroom flats right through to 5 bedroom houses.

To add variety and provide visual interest, within the development we have identified discrete character areas which take cues from the historic core of Stowmarket and surrounding villages.

Much emphasis has been placed on the sustainability of the masterplan proposals with a new Primary School, Community facilities and Neighbourhood Centre, Sports Field and Pavilion proposed in later phases, all linked with a series of footpaths and cycle paths which extend the existing footpaths and bridleways to encourage walking and cycling.
